Volleyball Recap: Eastern Greene Takes a Loss

Eastern Greene lost against Shakamak back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Lakers, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-13.

Shakamak found their leader in sophomore Peyton Gambill, who had ten digs and three aces. Gambill has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Eastern Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Shakamak, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Eastern Greene has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Monrovia on the 21st. As for Shakamak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against North Central on the 21st.
