While Thomas Worthington's victory against Newark wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The CARDINALS had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 6-5 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the CARDINALS sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Thomas Worthington's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Newark, they moved to 13-10 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
