Horn has gone a perfect 3-0 against Skyline recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Horn will face off against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Horn made easy work of Cedar Hill and carried off an 18-4 win. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.
Hailey Martinez was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Another player making a difference was Jasmine Uribe, who went 2-for-5 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs.
Horn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Skyline, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with an 11-7 victory over DeSoto on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Like Horn, Skyline also got a great game from a two-way player: Jaylene Escobedo. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits. Escobedo also tossed two walks, marking her first of the season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Mikiyah Butts was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.
Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Horn, their win bumped their record up to 13-9-1.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Horn has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. However, it's not like Skyline struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Horn took their victory against Skyline in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0. Does Horn have another victory up their sleeve, or will Skyline turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
