Softball Recap: Lone Oak Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

On Friday, the Lone Oak Buffaloes came up short against the Blue Ridge Tigers and fell 5-1.

Lone Oak's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Blue Ridge, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Lone Oak wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-3 victory against Lindsay on the 1st. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
