Soccer Game Preview: Greenbrier vs. Rome

The Greenbrier Wolfpack will face off against the Rome Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenbrier will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Greenbrier's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Glynn Academy 4-0. The result was nothing new for Greenbrier, who have now won ten matches by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Glynn Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Stephanie Schroeder, Madelyn Heckathorn, Presley McDermott, and Natalie Heckathorn.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Rome's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Kennesaw Mountain by a score of 2-1.

Greenbrier's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four contests. As for Rome, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
