Football Recap: Leland Takes a Loss

Leland lost against Santa Clara back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chargers fell 12-6 to the Bruins. That's two games in a row now that the Chargers have lost by exactly six points.

Leland now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Santa Clara, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5-1.

Leland will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Santa Clara, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 25-19 loss against Sequoia on the 20th.
