Mallory Pickering turned in nothing short of a gem on Tuesday, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Wellington's points. For the year, Pickering has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 3.63 over 44.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.600/0.714/1.200 with 19 runs.

Coming up, Pickering and Wellington will square off against Keystone at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dukes haven't beaten the Wildcats recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2018.
