Baseball Recap: Purdue Polytechnic Takes a Loss

Purdue Polytechnic was the 14-9 winner over Indy Genesis HomeSchool when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Techies came up short against the Indy Genesis on Monday, falling 14-4. The Techies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Purdue Polytechnic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alvaro Sanchez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base. Nevan Jeffers was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Purdue Polytechnic suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 2-2. As for Indy Genesis HomeSchool, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Purdue Polytechnic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-2 win against Tindley on the 16th. As for Indy Genesis HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-1 victory against Edinburgh on the 15th.
