Baseball Recap: Southeast Valley Find Success

Southeast Valley hadn't done well against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warriors skirted past Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS 5-4. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 victory Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2024.

Southeast Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Southeast Valley will square off against Alta-Aurelia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Alta-Aurelia has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.36 runs per game on average), something Southeast Valley will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS, they will head out on the road to face off against Clear Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
