Soccer Game Preview: Myrtle Beach vs. Carolina Forest

The Myrtle Beach Seahawks will face off against the Carolina Forest Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Myrtle Beach is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Last Friday, Myrtle Beach came up short against Socastee and fell 4-2. Myrtle Beach have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Karley McGonigal wasn't going to let Socastee walk away unscathed as she scored both of Myrtle Beach's goals, bringing her season total up to five goals.

Meanwhile, Carolina Forest kept a clean sheet against Cape Henlopen on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for Carolina Forest.

Carolina Forest pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five games. As for Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1.
