Baseball Recap: Thacher Takes a Loss

Thacher lost against St. Bonaventure last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Thacher fell 8-5 to St. Bonaventure. The Toads have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cole Mason was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Henry Molfino was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Even though they lost, Thacher always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Thacher's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for St. Bonaventure, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
