Baseball Game Preview: Carlynton Cougars vs. Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles

Carlynton hasn't had much luck against Keystone Oaks recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cougars will head out to challenge the Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Carlynton is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.

Carlynton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Hart, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Keystone Oaks had taken McGuffey down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders.

Carlynton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Keystone Oaks, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Carlynton suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Keystone Oaks when the teams last played back in March of 2019. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
