Volleyball Recap: Ripon's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ripon entered their tilt with South Milwaukee on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Rockets. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kyah Peterson paced Ripon's offense, picking up nine kills. Peterson got some help from Adele Minor and her 21 assists. Brinna Flanigan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ripon's victory bumped their record up to 17-15. As for South Milwaukee, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Coincidentally, Ripon and South Milwaukee will both be playing Heritage Christian the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
