Basketball Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Maranatha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors and fell 65-33. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-10.

Mount Hope Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore MALACHI FLOHR, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 23 points and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points FLOHR has scored all season. Another player making a difference was TALAN CARON, who posted ten points in addition to eight boards and seven assists.

Maranatha Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-11.
