The Elite Academy Eagles and the Southeastern Prep Academy Falcons will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Elite Academy will be strutting in after a win while Southeastern Prep Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Elite Academy turned things around against Academy of Central Florida Regional on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Golden Bulls, sneaking past 46-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since December 30, 2023.

Meanwhile, Southeastern Prep Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 69-65 to Westminster Academy. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Lions are ranked 64th).

Southeastern Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Elite Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
