Basketball Recap: Elko Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After losing to Churchill County the last time they met, Elko decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Elko Indians secured a 52-48 W over the Churchill County Greenwave on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Elko's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Churchill County, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Elko beat Churchill County by a score of 52-48 on Friday.
