Baseball Recap: Comfort Comes Up Short

Comfort lost against San Antonio HomeSchool back in February of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Comfort Bobcats/Deer lost 17-7 to the San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines. The Bobcats/Deer's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Comfort now has a losing record of 5-6. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Comfort and San Antonio HomeSchool could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Comfort (ranked 650th) will meet Canyon Lake (ranked 204th) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Comfort has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Meanwhile, San Antonio HomeSchool will challenge Fredericksburg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday down 665 places (855 vs. 190).
