St. Edward lost to Centennial back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Pirates came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

The win didn't come easy: Centennial scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 14-25, 25-23.

Nevin Waddell paced St. Edward's offense, picking up 20 kills. Waddell got some help from Margaret Fykes and her 43 assists. Makena Rodriguez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

St. Edward's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Edward's will square off against Pine at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palm Beach Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
