Soccer Recap: Spring Valley vs. Lincoln County        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Parkersburg South, Spring Valley was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They never let the Lincoln County Panthers onto the board and left with  a   7-0  win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Timberwolves   needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
 Their offense was hitting Lincoln County from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. 
 Will McFann led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
 The  victory  got Spring Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Lincoln County, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
 Spring Valley will play host again  on Thursday to welcome South Charleston, where kickoff is scheduled  at 6:00  p.m. South Charleston is coming into the  game with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning Spring Valley will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win. As for Lincoln County, they will venture away from home to  challenge Scott  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Lincoln County has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
