Atascocita won the last time they faced Red Oak and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles managed a 61-57 win over the Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Devan Kirk, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Kirk is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerric Bradford, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 16 points.

Atascocita's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Red Oak, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Atascocita wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-61 win against Houston on the 29th. As for Red Oak, they have also already played their next game, a 53-41 victory against South Grand Prairie on the 2nd.
