Basketball Recap: Washington Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Washington Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 54-45 to the Field Falcons. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Washington Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Field, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chapelgate Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Field, they will challenge Don Bosco Cristo Rey at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
