Softball Recap: Owen Valley Patriots vs. Eminence Eels
Owen Valley never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Eminence Eels. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
Haley Amador made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Amador was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makynlee Bonds, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah White, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Owen Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eminence only posted a batting average of .118.
