The biggest upset of the week belonged to Los Altos, who took down 224th ranked Los Altos, 40-3. Tyler Peterson threw for 213 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 30 yards in the win.
Bonita moved up to 263 from 363 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Hacienda. The Bearcats were able to make the jump by beating Rowland 57-16.
Diamond Bar's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Tyron Kelley chipped in 148 yards. Austin Cox helped Diamond Bar's passing attack out by catching two balls for 58 yards.
Kanya Bell was the best wideout in the league this week as the Brahmas defeated the Conquerors. Bell tallied two receptions for 64 yards.
Diamond Bar's Peterson and Bell have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Peterson has thrown for 1083 yards this season, while Bell, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 22 catches for 401 yards. Walnut's Robert Gonzalez leads the league in rushing yards with 530.
A big matchup in Hacienda this week will be when the Raiders take on Ryan Maine's team. At the moment, Rowland is in first, while the Brahmas are in fifth.
