Basketball Game Preview: Udall Eagles vs. Central Raiders

The Udall Eagles will challenge the Central Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Udall has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 14.

Udall is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since January 3rd on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Argonia and fell 70-41. The Eagles were down 47-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Udall might have lost, but man, Jordan Hornecker was a machine: he posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave Hornecker a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Mason, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Central's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Elk. The loss put an end to the Raiders' undefeated start to the season.

Udall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1-1.
