Basketball Recap: Auburn Adventist's Run of Six Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Sound Christian last Wednesday, Auburn Adventist came back down to earth. The Auburn Adventist Falcons lost to the Taholah Chitwhins on the road by a 80-63 margin on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Falcons came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Chitwhins are ranked 248th).

With the loss, Auburn Adventist broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2. As for Taholah, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Auburn Adventist will challenge Cascade Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Taholah, they will square off against Lummi at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
