Camarillo won the last time they faced Moorpark, and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Camarillo Scorpions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Moorpark Musketeers 44-6 on the road. Considering the Scorpions have won eight contests by more than 19 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Camarillo found their leader in underclassman Jaeah Blaney, who threw for 256 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.7% of her passes. What's more, Blaney also racked up 22 rushing yards, the mostshe's had in her last nine matchups.
Camarillo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Riley Kavanagh, Rebekah Stead, Emma Whittenton, and MarliRose Demate picked up one apiece.
