Basketball Recap: Heber Springs Takes a Loss

Heber Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 61-47 bruising from the Star City Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-44 last Saturday.

Heber Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Star City, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

While Heber Springs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
