Desert Chapel extended the longest winning streak in Majestic (8 Man) this week by beating Crossroads Christian, 56-18. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Eagles.

Palm Valley's dynamic duo of Sam Struthers and Chase Doremus proved tough for Cornerstone Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Struthers threw for 370 yards and 6 touchdowns and Doremus had 193 yards receiving. Matt Elliot helped Palm Valley's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 103 yards.
He went 20-36 with 1 interception.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when Calvary Baptist's Taylor Dial goes up against Jim Donaldson's team's Kyle Ettleman.
The Cougars' offense has scored 279 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Eagles have allowed only 77 on the year.
Mark Garcia-Salas of the Calvary Baptist is only 51 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 131 carries Garcia-Salas has accumulated 949 yard this year.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when Lincoln Dial's team and the Eagles face off next week. Garcia-Salas has thrown for 1,159 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Daniel Camargo has plagued opposing QBs to the tune of 5.5 sacks.
Next week's game between the Cougars and Desert Chapel will feature a good passing match up as Garcia-Salas will test his arm against Ettleman's defensive ability.
At the moment, the Eagles are in first, while Calvary Baptist is in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Desert Chapel and the Cougars face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Eagles comes in having scored 270 this season, while Calvary Baptist has scored 279. Desert Chapel scored 56 points last week as it bested Brett McIntosh's team.
