Frankfort extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 10-6 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Peru Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hot Dogs have suffered since May 11, 2024.

Frankfort saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Sandoval-Alanis, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. JJ Mejia also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The Hot Dogs (ranked 74th) will meet Harrison (ranked 15th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Peru will face off against Rochester at 5:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (136 vs. 40).
