Baseball Game Preview: Lawrence Academy Warriors vs. Ridgecroft Rams

For the second straight game, Lawrence Academy will face off against Ridgecroft. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Last Monday, Lawrence Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Ridgecroft, taking the game 5-1.

Creek Johnson looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lawrence Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Powell, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases. Those three stolen bases gave Powell a new career-high. Another was Hunter Eason, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Ridgecroft's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Lawrence Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
