With a playoff game on the line, Andrew Jackson rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Woodland Wolverines out 4-3. That's more bragging rights for Andrew Jackson, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
For Woodland's part, Corrine Westbury put in work while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Westbury has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive pitching appearances. Westbury was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with a stolen base and a double.
