Basketball Recap: Cambridge Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After losing to Zanesville the last time they met, Cambridge decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cambridge Bobcats enjoyed a cozy 52-37 win over the Zanesville Blue Devils on Saturday. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Zanesville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ceejay Whitfield, who posted nine points. Lucca Wood was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.
