Football Recap: Middlesex Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Windsor, Middlesex was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Lancaster Red Devils by a score of 16-6. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

The win got Middlesex back to even at 2-2. As for Lancaster, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Middlesex will welcome Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Chargers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lancaster, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on October 3.
