Soccer Game Preview: Bethune-Bowman vs. Charleston Math & Science

The Bethune-Bowman Mohawks will head out to challenge the Charleston Math & Science Riptide at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Bethune-Bowman didn't have quite enough to beat Military Magnet Academy and fell 3-2.

Kevin Zeigler and Andres Morales scored both of the Mohawks' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charleston Math & Science). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Branchville on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Charleston Math & Science with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Charleston Math & Science and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Bethune-Bowman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
