Pleasant Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 51-50 W against the Chico Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-44 back in January.

Pleasant Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keith Thompson, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Thompson a new career-high in assists (three). Another player making a difference was Lucas Bensen, who posted ten points.

Chico lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ej Park, who scored ten points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Remi Lefebvre was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Pleasant Valley pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Chico, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

Pleasant Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 44-32 victory against Red Bluff on the 11th. As for Chico, they have also already played their next game, a 67-64 loss against Shasta on the 11th.
