After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bell, Glen Rose was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Brownwood Lions a 10-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Glen Rose considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Shannon Wright made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits over five innings pitched. Wright has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. Wright was also solid in the batter's box, going 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
