Basketball Game Preview: Essex Trojans vs. Jamestown Eagles

The Essex Trojans will start their season against the Jamestown Eagles. Tip off is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Essex is hoping to do what Tabb couldn't on Wednesday: put an end to Jamestown's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Jamestown came out on top against Tabb by a score of 58-47. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

They pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

As for Essex, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 5-16.

Essex came up short against Jamestown in their previous matchup back in February, falling 79-70. Can Essex avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
