Acton-Boxborough has gone 9-1 against Bedford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Revolution will face off against the Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Acton-Boxborough came up short against Shrewsbury on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Revolution have suffered against the Colonials since September 27, 2021.

While Acton-Boxborough was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Shrewsbury's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Bedford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Burlington.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13, 25-12.

Acton-Boxborough's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bedford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything went Acton-Boxborough's way against Bedford in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Acton-Boxborough made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Revolution since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
