Recap: Poolesville Falcons vs. Kennedy Cavaliers
The Poolesville Falcons won the last time they faced the Kennedy Cavaliers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Poolesville came out on top against Kennedy by a score of 49-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Poolesville.
Poolesville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Breanna Salovich, who scored 20 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Alex Sosna, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and eight steals.
The win got Poolesville back to even at 6-6. As for Kennedy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poolesville will challenge Northwood at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Northwood is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Kennedy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Quince Orchard at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th.
