It's playoff time, and Tularosa had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with  a   6-2  win over the Ruidoso Warriors  on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Daniel Yuzos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on four hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Tularosa's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Hunter Sewell, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.  Ayden Esquero was another,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
Tularosa has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Ruidoso,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-17.
 Coming up, Tularosa will face off against Robertson at 10:00  a.m.  on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Ruidoso does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
