Volleyball Recap: Oxnard Find Success

Oxnard posted their closest victory since March 7th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Chadwick Dolphins 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Caiden Aguilar paced Oxnard's offense, picking up 12 kills. Aguilar got some help from JP Mawas and his 27 assists. Aguilar was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Oxnard's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Chadwick, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Oxnard will host Santa Barbara at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Dons have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Chadwick, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Rio Mesa on the 5th.
