Basketball Recap: Jordan Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Jordan saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They managed a 48-44 win over the Dominguez Dons. Given the Beetdiggers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 90th in Utah, while the Dons are ranked 591st in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holden Warnick continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. Those 23 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Osborne, who posted seven points and five steals.

Jordan's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for Dominguez, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Jordan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-33 defeat against Desert Oasis on the 19th. As for Dominguez, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-37 loss against Elko on the 19th.
