North Broward Prep had won nine straight games and Emma Luehrs did her part to make it ten on Tuesday. The Eagles came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pine Crest Panthers for which the team can thank Luehrs, who had 43 assists and nine digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 30 games she's played dating back to last season.

North Broward Prep was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (94-92), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 12-25, 25-10, 15-25, 15-11.

Mia Gold and Isabella Collado certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Gold had 23 kills, eight digs, and three aces, while Collado had 12 digs and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Foreman, who had 15 digs and two assists.

North Broward Prep's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Pine Crest, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

North Broward Prep has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against South Broward on the 19th. As for Pine Crest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cypress Bay on the 19th.
