Basketball Recap: South Summit Wildcats vs. Grantsville Cowboys
After flying high against Ogden last Tuesday, South Summit came back down to earth. The South Summit Wildcats had to suffer through a 71-27 loss at the hands of the Grantsville Cowboys. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-12.
South Summit's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Remi Arnout, who posted seven points, and Emree Woolstenhulme, who earned no points. Emilee Mcnulty also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
Grantsville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Baylee Lowder out in front who went 10 of 15 en route to 25 points along with three steals and three blocks. Avery Allred was another key player, going 8 for 12 on her way to 23 points and eight boards.

With the loss, South Summit broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-7. As for Grantsville, they pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

As for Grantsville, they will face off against Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grantsville is facing Ben Lomond at the right time seeing as Ben Lomond is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
