University Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Jensen Beach on Wednesday. University Christian put the hurt on Jensen Beach with a sharp 8-2 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Christians, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Lukas Brougham looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bubba Crouch, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Brennen Crouch was another key player, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI.

University Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Jensen Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

University Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-3 victory against Flagler Palm Coast on the 24th. As for Jensen Beach, they will welcome True North Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th. True North Classical Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jensen Beach surely won't give up without a fight.
