Football Game Recap: Erath vs. Welsh

Welsh won the last time they faced Erath, and things went their way on Friday, too. Welsh put the hurt on Erath with a sharp 41-12 win. Followers of Welsh probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Welsh's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 21 first-half points. Erath wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 12 to make it 21-12 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Welsh in the second half, holding Erath to a measly 0 points. The victory bumped Welsh's record up to 4-1. Erath are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Welsh will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Jennings. Each of these teams will be battling to keep their three-game winning streak alive. As for Erath, they will face off against Berwick.
