Lakeview faced Concordia in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings skirted past the Mustangs 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Adalyn Eberhart paced Lakeview's offense, picking up nine kills. Eberhart got some help from Grace Dawson and her 31 assists. Eberhart was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Concordia, their loss dropped their record down to 26-7.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Lakeview and Lexington will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Concordia, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Bishop Neumann on the 21st.
