Football Game Preview: Logan Chieftains vs. Canal Winchester Indians + How To Watch

The Logan Chieftains will take on the Canal Winchester Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Logan is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Lancaster on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Chieftains had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Golden Gales. The Chieftains were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Even if they lost, Logan's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. James Peyton refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

Meanwhile, Canal Winchester blew past Teays Valley, posting a 49-13 victory. Considering the Indians have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Canal Winchester and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points over those games. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
