Volleyball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union lost against Hobbton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 15-25, 25-20.

Union has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Hobbton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

While Union had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
