Softball Recap: Beckman Find Success

While Beckman put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Warren. The Patriots came out on top against the Bears by a score of 4-0. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly four runs.

Not much got past Jess Peralta, who gave up just four hits to keep Warren off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Katelyn Park, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazmine Cruz, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

The win made it two in a row for Beckman and bumps their season record up to 14-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Warren, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beckman will challenge Trabuco Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren, they will head out to take on Downey at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
